Dave Pimper is a financial advisor with more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds life insurance licenses and securities licenses 7, 63, 65 and 24 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1977.
Starting in 1981, Dave worked three years in the insurance industry and since then has been in the retail investment arena. He transitioned to Calton & Associates, Inc. in 2005 in order to offer clients objective advice and unbiased strategies without any conflicts of interest or quotas to meet.
Dave is an accomplished speaker and has facilitated over 560 public financial management workshops, educating thousands of people about the opportunities, as well as the common mistakes and pitfalls, inherent in the investment/financial arena. His educational seminars cover a wide range of financial topics, including Social Security claiming, 401(k)/IRA rollovers, income planning, financial planning, and more.
Dave is a Cornhusker fan and outside of the office, he enjoys exercising, playing golf, and a good cigar. He spends his time with Amy, his wife of 41 years. They have two grown children who have "flown the coop".
